Songs of the Week 10/07
Songs of the Week
September 30 - October 7
This week has flown by, It's been a lot of Lou Reed on my end thanks to my September playlist I made a little while ago. This week it's been reflecting on basically what the point of life is, lol. Just thinking lots about how it's important to show care for those you love. Sort of heavy for a shitty blog, sorry ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Sugar on my Tongue - Talking Heads
Found this through the enhance feature on Spotify playlists which is sort of epic because I had only ventured into only a couple talking heads songs.
Andy's Chest - Lou Reed
This is music 2 my ears, this song makes me feel safe which I think is the case for all Lou Reed songs, it also feels very New York (gag) and very Fall (gag x2)
Baby's on Fire - Brian Eno
I don't know who Brian Eno is, quick google search lets me know he apparently created the genre of ambient music, very cool. He is also considered a genius, very cool.
Sour Times - Portishead
Shoutout Olivia for putting this song on you're story, I was intrigued by the lyrics 'cause nobody loves me it's true' I was feeling sort of emo so this song really let me sulk.
Je T'emmené Au Vent - Louise Attaque
I used to have a cd of this back when I was so bored driving around in Vancouver, I'd always sing with this song with my mom so it reminds me of her. Fun-factoid I was listening to this song when I got my first ever covid test last year.
Father of Mine - Everclear
Shoutout Maya for asking me to play this song, we were sitting under the Hare Krishna tree and just totally chillin listening to Everclear. This was just when I found out about my internship, after I bought a citrine crystal. magic,,,magic....magic...
Into the Groovy - Sonic Youth
Another shoutout to Maya for this song as well, I like how sonic youth's sound a lot.

This week's post is sort of lame cause I have been really in a funk, but none the less it's here. #no apologies.
